The weekend is coming and that means another round of travel chaos in London (thanks Boris)  Please bear in mind that as its a bank holiday some of this will also run into Monday just to screw things up a bit more.

Central line RED
On Mondays to Saturdays, before 0600 and after 2300 and on Sundays, after 2300, until late November, Bond Street station is closed.

Circle line YELLOW
On Saturday and Sunday, Farringdon station is closed.

Hammersmith & City line PINK
On Saturday and Sunday, Farringdon station is closed.

Jubilee line SILVER
On Mondays to Saturdays, before 0600 and after 2300 and on Sundays, after 2300, until late November, Bond Street station is closed.

Metropolitan line PURPLE
On Sunday 28 and Monday 29 August, there is no service between Wembley Park and Uxbridge/Northwood.

On Saturday and Sunday, Farringdon station is closed.

Northern line  BLACK
From Saturday 27 to Monday 29 August, there is no service between Camden Town and Kennington via Bank.

On Saturday and Sunday, and until late November, Northern line trains are not stopping at Tottenham Court Road.

Victoria line CYAN
From Saturday 27 to Monday 29 August, there is no service between King’s Cross St. Pancras and Walthamstow Central.

Notting Hill Carnival is taking place on Sunday 28 and Monday 29 August, finishing at the earlier time of 1900 on both days. Some stations in and around the Notting Hill Carnival will be closed or have restricted opening times, and some bus routes will be disrupted or on diversion.

Riots in London August 2011

Our thoughts go out today for those living in the areas that have been effected by the riots and ongoing troubles in parts of London that have been reported in thew news over the last 24 hours.

Because on the ongoing situation SAE will be stopping outcalls to those areas effected and any small suburbs that are close by.  This restriction will apply to both Hotels and private addresses.

Please keep up to date with your local BBC news who are the best to keep you informed of any ongoing changes.  We can also advise you at the time of booking if you are in an effected area.

So far this has been mostly confined to residential areas.  In the unlikely event that you are staying in a hotel in the areas then we would advice to call ahead of time to check on the situation for your own safety.

Thankfully these sorts of events are not commonplace and we hope that this will all be resolved very soon for the sake of those effected.
